Ring Neck Pheasant
This guy has been hanging around for a few days. It doesn’t look like he can fly, though. Every time we get close, he just runs.
Does anybody know whether they clip wings when they stock pheasants for hunting?
It seems strange that he never actually flies. He does not appear hurt in any way.

They don’t clip their wings. They only fly if they have to. You’re not that big of a threat.
