But I’m not totally sure.
I have spent almost 22 years with these people, who I call my friends, at least eight hours, sometimes ten, sometimes more in a day. Sometimes we had weekends, and sometimes that included Sundays (and the rock n roll was blaring on Sundays)! We were never good at keeping that alarm from going off!
There is always a smile. There is always somebody willing to tell a joke to cheer you up, and then there are some of those folks who just push you to the boundaries of what you can do and beyond (Ken & Rich), where you can say at the end of the day, “It was a good day!” There is no question that I will treasure these days for the rest of my life.
Whenever I walked those halls, where ever I was going, I thought to myself, “this is my daytime home, what would I do if I weren’t here?” I always hated it when I was sick. Those walls close in on you so fast!
Dwinal is home now, and I have things to do. We have grandkids, my Mom & Dad need us a bit more, I love photography, those scrapbooks I haven’t touched in three years, this site, and I have a drive to make sure the kids in New Hartford have places to practice and other stuff!
There is also no question that I will keep in touch. The people I work with are the best in the world. The Company I work for, is the best in the world.
Thank you O&G, and thank you all of my co-workers for a very fun, challenging and rewarding career.
